Century College offers a variety of basic, intermediate and advanced welding classes that are in high
demand with employers. Classes are offered evenings, weekends and shortened schedules specifically for
working people. Just a couple of welding classes can improve a skilled person’s chances of landing a job
or help launch someone on a new career path.
Welding is used in a variety of applications and areas, including:
- Auto Mechanics
- Auto Body
- Metal Fabrication
- Manufacturing
Knowledge of welding is also useful in performing home and hobby repairs, as well working as with arts and crafts.
At Century, our students learn how to set up and use GAS, MIG and Arc welding equipment.
Knowledge of this equipment and operation may also be helpful to students going into the
Law Enforcement or EMT fields.
